Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
– 1 Peter 1:8-9
Reading this, I am reminded of a friend. Every time I would not be joining them for a hang out because my schedule is already allotted for my church activities, he would always challenge my faith. I try so hard to make him accept my faith, my practices as a part of me but he seems so difficult. He wants proof and all that stuff. Now, I could confidently present myself as a proof, having this unfathomable joy. And this is because of my faith to God. Although I don’t “see” him, as in with physical eyes, I feel Him and I love Him.
