No to the Bad, Yes to the Good

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this present age…

-Titus 2: 11-12

As we continue to live in this world, temptation will always be around us. Even as I do this post, temptation to not to do the right thing would always be there. But with the grace of God, we are given the salvation. This salvation reminds us of who we are. We are Christians. Whatever is His way is our way. It would always be aΒ Yes as long as it’s for God, as long as it’s from God, and as long as it’s through God. Anything else would always be aΒ No. Having this principle, put in your mind how you should decide in whatever. Is it from God, through God and for God? Then go and say yes. Is it not? Then that’s a no-no. It’s as simple as that. It’s easy to decide.

.

prayer:

Lord, thank you for another day that has passed. Thank you for leading my way. Thank you for always reminding me of how great you are. And I thank you Lord for another lesson in my life. Thank you for giving me the knowledge of how to decide especially when I’m in doubt. Thank you Lord. Amen.
